What you actually find
Makers, not chains. Art, jewellery, vintage, plants, prints, and a rotating food line. Prices are stall-by-stall. Bring a bag. Dogs are common on leads. It is not the Veg Out Farmers Market (first Saturday, Peanut Farm). Do not mix the two.
- Tram 96 or 16 to stop 138. Walk the upper Esplanade. Stalls face the bay.
- Cash still helps at small stalls. Card is common. Bring a bag.
- Coffee at Sea Baths or cakes on Acland, five minutes north. Toilets at Catani and Sea Baths.
Closed on St Kilda Festival Sunday (21 February 2027). Winter gales can cancel a week. Check the market channels before you tram out.
Toilets, access, weather
The strip is paved and mostly flat. Wind off the bay is the real limiter in winter. Public toilets sit at Catani Gardens and the Sea Baths.
Coffee and lunch
Walk south to Sea Baths or north to Acland cakes. The Esplanade hub lists only this strip. Veg Out is a different Saturday job.
